| Description | 11-Mercaptoundecanoic acid 2,5-dioxo-1-pyrrolidinyl ester is a PEG linker containing a thiol group and a terminal NHS ester group. The hydrophilic PEG spacer increases solubility in aqueous media. The thiol group reacts with maleimide, OPSS, vinylsulfone and transition metal surfaces including gold, silver, etc. The NHS group can participate in reactions with primary amine groups to form amide bonds. |
