Synonyms: Eight-Arm polyethylene glycol-NH2; Eight-Arm PEG-NH2
8-Arm polyethylene glycol-Amino (8-Arm PEG-NH2) is a multiarm PEG derivative with Amino groups at each terminal of the eight arms connected to one hexaglycerol core. It is a white solid and soluble in most organic solvents and has good solubility in water. It needs to be frozen, thawed slowly before use, and filled with nitrogen after use. Amino group can modify the active group which can react with primary amine, form stable amide bond with carboxyl (- COOH), and form amide bond with active ester (-NHS) in ph7-8.5.
