Synonyms: Acrylate-PEG-SPA
The two ends of the molecular chain of Acrylate-PEG-Succinimidyl propionate are acrylate and succinimidyl propionate, which is a heterodifunctional PEG derivative. Acrylate can polymerize with ultraviolet light or free radical initiators. Acrylate-PEG-Succinimidyl propionate can be used in cell culture, drug research, drug delivery and release, nanotechnology and new materials. At the same time, it can be attached to different molecules or materials to extend the richness of different molecular combinations. Polyethylene glycolation increases solubility and stability and reduces the immunogenicity of peptides and proteins. It also inhibits nonspecific binding of charged molecules to the modified surface.
