NHS-PEG-Plys is a biodegradable polymer organic compound conjugated by polyethylene glycol and polylysine. The end of the molecular chain contains the NHS group. Plys is rich in cations and has good membrane. Based on this property, Plys can be used as the carrier of some drugs, so it is widely used in medical and pharmaceutical applications. Various reactive groups in Plys-PEG derivatives can cross-link with different molecules. NHS is a white crystalline substance that can be used as a pharmaceutical intermediate for the production of semi-synthetic kanamycin or as a solid-phase synthetic linker for polypeptides. NHS-PEG-Plys can be easily incorporated into liposomes and other nanoparticles through the NHS-amine reaction.
