Methoxy polyethylene glycol-succinamide acid (mPEG-SAA) is a linear monofunctive PEG acid reagent that is a white powder and can be stored at -20℃ for a long time. A C3 aliphatic amide bond exists between the PEG and COOH groups. PEG succinic acid can be used with amine groups and peptide-coupled reagents such as NHS and DCC, EDC reaction. It mainly emphasizes the use of carboxyl and hydroxyl esterification reaction to form ester bond, and amino affinity substitution reaction to form amides and other carboxyl characteristics, so as to effectively link PEG to the required materials or small molecule drugs and polypeptides, to achieve the purpose of reaction. mPEG-SAA are used in medical research, drug-release, nanotechnology and new materials research, cell culture.
