Methoxy polyethylene glycol Dansyl (mPEG-Dansyl) is a stable blue or green fluorescent substance. Dansyl is a relatively lipophilic or hydrophobic dye especially at high pH values. Dansylamide polyethylene glycol can be used to modify protein drugs, peptide compounds, liposomes, organic small molecule drugs, affinity ligands and cofactors, carbohydrates and a variety of biological materials. It must be stored at -20°C for a long time, avoid light and dryness. It must be dry when taken, and avoid frequent dissolution and lyophilization. It is soluble in most organic solvents (DCM, DMF, DMSO, THF, etc.) and has good solubility in water. The mPEG-Dansyl modifier can be linked to target materials, small molecule drugs or peptides, helping to solve the problems of low immunogenicity, short half-life, poor stability and low solubility. At present, mPEG-Dansyl is widely used in the fields of drug synthesis, bio-organic polymers, drug sustained release, biomedical engineering, and medical device research.
