Propargyl-PEG3-NH-PEG-COOH is a heterodifunctional PEG derivative containing propargyl and carboxylic acid. The amine group and the oligomer PEG exist between the propargyl and PEG main chains. The alkynyl group can react with azides to form triazole bonds by click-chemical reactions. Under the activation of EDC or HATU, carboxylic acids can form stable amide bonds with amines. PEG in the chain increases the solubility of the molecule in an aqueous environment. Propargyl-PEG3-NH-PEG-COOH is widely used to click chemical biological conjugates, biomarkers, chemical biological and antibody drug conjugates (ADCs).
