Methoxy polyethylene glycol-Orthopyridyl Disulfide (mPEG-OPSS) is a single functional group PEG and is commonly in viscous liquids or solid powders, depending on their molecular weight.It is usually stored in a dry environment of minus 20℃.Soluble in most organic solvents, such as: DCM, DMF, DMSO, THF and so on, but also has a good solubility in water. Mercaptopyrimine (OPSS) functionalized polyethylene glycol (OPSS PEG) is a PEG derivative containing a mercapto (-SH) gene active that can be used to modify biomolecules or other materials by providing a mercapto group. Sulfur o-pyridine can react with sulfhydryl groups to form a stable disulfide bond and the mercaptopyridine group is released. It can modify a variety of drugs, such as protein drugs, peptide compounds, organic small molecule drugs and so on.
