OPSS-PEG-OPSS contains pyridinyl disulfide at both ends of the molecular chain, which is a thiol (-SH) group reactive PEG derivative of ortho-pyridyl disulfide (OPSS) functionalization. It is also known as PDP-PEG-PDP, PDP: 3- (2-pyridinyldithiopropionic acid).Through the pyridinyl disulfide functional group, OPSS-PEG-OPSS can selectively react with the sulfhydryl group to form a stable disulfide bond and release a thiol pyridyl group group at the same time. Through this reaction, it can modify biomolecules or other materials. It is stored at -5~0℃, to avoid exposure to sunlight, and ensure that the sample cover is sealed when not in use.
