It is usually white solid. It is suitable for storage in a dry environment below -20℃ and needs inert gas (argon or nitrogen) protection for long-term storage. It is easy to dissolve in water, CHCl3, DMSO. Alkynes can react with azide in aqueous solution under the catalysis of cupric. Eight arm polyethylene glycol derivatives have a variety of active groups and can be used to modify a variety of materials.
