Four-Arm polyethylene glycol-Tosylate (4-Arm PEG-Tosylate) is a multi arm peg derivative, which has tosylate groups at each end of the four arms connected to a core. It is usually a viscous liquid or solid powder, depending on the molecular weight. It is soluble in most organic solvents and has good solubility in water. It needs to be dried at -20℃ away from light and stored for a long time. Toluene sulfonic acid group is a very good leaving group for nucleophilic substitution reaction.
