Dendro Acid-PEG-Dendro Acid, a dendritic PEG derivative, is a kind of dendritic PEG derivative with branched wedges at both ends of molecular chain. It is a hydrophilic terminal group functional polymer. The series features linear PEG functionalized with BISMPA dendriform polymer wedges that have an average number of functional end groups (e.g. carboxylic acids). Acid groups interact well with active molecules or substances with amino groups. It is soluble in water, ethanol, THF, DMF, DMSO, chloroform, etc. Dendro Acid-PEG-Dendro Acid is used in drug delivery systems for increased drug load, targeted delivery, organic synthesis, etc.
