mPEG-SS (mPEG-Succinimidyl Succinate) is a monofunctional modified PEG derivative, which can reduce non-specific binding and immunogenicity on the surface of charged molecules. It is widely used in drug release, peptide synthesis carrier, polymer grafted compound, material coating And modification and other fields. This product is a monomethoxy polyethylene glycol (mPEG) modifier whose hydroxyl terminal is activated to succinimidyl succinate. It can react with the free amino group of the active drug to bond with it, and has high reactivity. However, the ester bond connected to the PEG backbone is easily broken and hydrolyzed under strong alkali or strong acid conditions, which reduces the content of active groups. This product should be stored in a dry inert gas environment below -20°C.
