The two ends of the CLS-PEG-DBCO molecular chain are dibenzocyclooctyne and cholesterol, respectively. It is a reactive, lipophilic cholesterol, PEG.CLS-PEG-DBCO can react with azide groups in aqueous solution through so-called copper-free Click chemistry. It has good water solubility and excellent reactivity. At the same time, CLS-PEG-DBCO can also be used to make liposomes to reduce the cycle time of encapsulated drugs, or for non-viral transfection reagents.
