Methoxy polyethylene glycol-NH-Cholesterol (mPEG-NH-Cholesterol) is a modifier with one end of the methoxy group and the other end of the cholesterol derivative. It is usually a viscous liquid or solid powder, depending on the molecular weight. It can be stored for a long time at -20℃. It is soluble in most organic solvents and has good solubility with water. Cholesterol is water-soluble and fat-soluble and can be used in the preparation of liposomes to improve the cycle time of encapsulated drugs, as well as in non-viral transfection reagents. It can modify a variety of drugs, such as protein drugs, peptide compounds, organic small molecule drugs and so on. Similarly, it is also widely used in PEG modification of biological nanomaterials.
