mPEG-PCL-PAsp is a linear amphiphilic block copolymer (ABC) with a poly (L-aspartic acid) as hydrophobic part and a polycaprolactone functionalized PEG as hydrophilic part. It can self-assemble into micelles. mPEG-PCL-PAsp has reactive groups on two parts, namely, P (L-asp) side group free -COOH used to modify the micelle core, and PEG-PCL with biodegradable and biocompatible polyester chain polyethylene glycolated copolymer used to prepare core-shell micelles, nanoparticles and microspheres. The active group at the end of the product can link some modified peptides, proteins, sugars, folic acid or antibodies, etc., so that it has an active targeting effect.
