| Description | HS-PEG-COOH has two different activated terminal groups. Sulfhydryl is widely used in gold nanoparticles or gold film modification. Stable oxime ether linkages can be formed with maleimide at pH 6.5-7.5. The carboxyl group can modify the amino group and can be condensed with a hydroxyl group to obtain an ester bond. Heterobifunctionalized PEG derivatives are used in cell culture, pharmaceutical research, drug delivery and release, nanotechnology and new materials. |
