8-Arm polyethylene glycol-Glutaramide Acid (8-Arm PEG-GAA) is a multiarm PEG derivative with glutaramide acid groups at each terminal of the eight arms connected to one hexaglycerol core. It is usually a solid powder, which needs to be protected by inert gas and dissolved in some organic reagents. Eight arm polyethylene glycol derivatives have a variety of active groups and can be used to modify a variety of materials. The carboxyl group of the material band can form stable amide bond with amino group and ester bond with hydroxyl group. It can also inhibit the nonspecific binding of charged molecules to the modified surface.
